Employment | Precision Dance Camps

Precision Dance Camps (PDC) is searching for an elite group of highly trained individuals with the experience and expertise in dance/drill to teach during our summer camp season, which starts in May and ends in August. We are not only looking to hire instructors, but role models, mentors, and representatives of our company. At PDC, our goal is to provide our staff with the best and most comfortable experience possible. Working for PDC is a wonderful opportunity for you to not only meet new people nationwide, but you will travel to new places, and help individual dancers and dance teams improve dramatically.

Our camps typically run three or four days. Three-day camps generally run Monday through Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday. Our four days camps usually run Monday through Thursday. Depending on the location of the camp (if you fly or have to drive a long distance), you will leave the day before the camp starts. Our camps are held at individual schools and you either stay with a host family or at a hotel. You will return home the last day of camp. We require the following from our staff:

A warm, friendly, and energetic personality, and a love of teaching
Competent, professional, and dedicated to providing excellent instruction for dance/drill teams
A willingness to learn the PDC curriculum in jazz, pom, hip hop, character, ballet technique, military, lyrical, kick, and leaps and turns
Responsibility and self-reliance - you are your own boss for the week, and no one is there to oversee your efforts. We have to be able to trust you completely

We'll do our best to ensure your success as an instructor, and provide you with a great work environment. We'll also provide:

A weekly salary (you'll be an independent contractor)
We'll cover your travel, meals, and housing costs during the week
Training - we'll make sure you are well trained in the PDC curriculum
