Choreography Camps | Precision Dance Camps

Our choreography camps give you the unique experience of a private camp while learning an exclusive competition or performance piece for your team. Choreography camps run three days. The mornings are spent focusing on technique and on a routine pulled from our curriculum, and the afternoons are spent learning a routine specifically choreographed for your team. Each day camp opens and closes with team-building activities. We send you one choreographer to teach your exclusive choreography and one of our distinguished teachers to run camp and assist the choreographer in teaching the piece. Both individuals will be present during the entire camp. This personal, one-on-one attention is a great advantage to you and your team. Important things to consider:

You are responsible for providing us with all the competition rules and regulations for your routine so we know the limits within what we are to choreograph. Note: it is helpful to send a your choreographer a video or idea of what a winning routine in your division looks like or contains so the choreographer has an idea of what you are competing against.
You are responsible for providing any specifics of what you would like in the routine, and what you do not want in the routine (specific leaps, turns, tricks, etc.)
You are responsible for cutting your own piece of music and getting it to the choreographer at least THREE WEEKS before camp to give the choreography ample time to create your original piece. Note: If you want us to select and cut the music for you there is an extra $100 fee.
You are responsible for pre-picking the dancers who are to be in the dance (that is if there is more dancers than spots in the dance). There is not enough time at camp for the choreographer to choose on spot who should be in the routine.
You are allowed to video tape the routine so that even when the choreographer leaves you have the video to use as a guide.
You need to be aware that the choreographer will set the entire routine during camp, but you are responsible for cleaning the routine. The choreographer is not responsible for cleaning the routine since time is limited.
As with private camps you are responsible for room and board for the choreographer and instructor as well as transportation while at camp. We cover travel expenses.

Pricing for 2.5 minute exclusive routine:

Utah and Idaho:

Three day camp:
$150 per dancer** + $550

All other states*:

Three day camp:
$185 per dancer** +550

*Pricing for camps in Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada may be subject to increase due to the price of airfare.

**For choreography camps we require a 16 girl minimum. For teams smaller than 16, please contact us for a quote.

Here’s how to sign-up:

Go to our choreographer page and select the type of routine you would like choreographed. You can choose from jazz, hip hop, lyrical, character/novelty, kick, or military.
Choose a choreographer.
Go to the sign-up page and select “choreography camp” and fill out the necessary fields.
